What's New

What an amazing month October has been!  We enjoyed spaghetti dinner and great parenting tips at the Start the Conversation workshop. If you couldn’t make it, Good to Know Colorado is one of many sites offering tips on talking to your children about making healthy choices.  The Lunch Groups are winding down in Ridgway and will start up in Ouray after the New Year.  We are encouraged by the enthusiastic launch of Sources of Strength in both Ridgway and Ouray secondary schools, facilitated by Alex Durham, our teen center site leader, who is also presenting Positive Action in Ouray School.  Basketball for 3rd and 4th graders is up and running.  If you have any questions about our programs, please call 970 626-4279 or check us out online at the Voyager after school enrichment program, we have been having a blast exploring the world around us this month.  We enjoyed the Montrose Rec Center, and look forward to heading back there our next full day, Monday November 20th.  We will be enjoying a pajama party and making crafts Tuesday, November 21st.  Voyager will be closed Wednesday the 22nd and Thursday the 24th for the Thanksgiving holiday.  We wish all a happy Thanksgiving. The November calendar is attached and includes the two parent teacher conference 1:00 release days, the 8th and 9th.
