Lisa Thomason, executive director of Voyager Youth Program, and Ridgway Mayor John Clark cut the ribbon at a ceremony celebrating the permanent home of the Voyager Youth Program at 280 N. Cora St., Ridgway. At center, Danelle Hughes Norman (left), program manager, and Alex Durham, prevention coordinator, hold plaques honoring Victoria Hearst, whose donation, among others, allowed Voyager to purchase the building.
Voyager Youth Program now has a permanent home thanks to a major donation from local resident Victoria Hearst, as well as other community contributions.
At a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, Hearst, though not present, was honored with a personalized plaque as well as a plaque that will be affixed to the building.
