In 1997, a group of Ouray County parents volunteered to create a summer day camp for local youth. The camp was a service to youth, and to working families who wanted their children to have somewhere safe and enriching to be outside of school. Research supports their vision: when youth are connected to community and one another through enrichment, they make healthier life choices and they avoid alcohol and drug use.

The vision and time of a few parents eventually became Voyager Youth Program, a 501(C)3 organization dedicated to supporting healthy outcomes for local youth. Decades after that first camp, Voyager offers a wide array of programs, from an after-school enrichment for school aged children to youth sports and prevention education. And of course, our Summer Enrichment Program is going strong.

To sign up for programs, first complete the enrollment form and submit with immunization records; then, sign up for days on the event calendar.

You must enroll on our new enrollment site.
